Limited Warranty
Your Jett engine is warranted to the original owner to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase, (bearings and damage caused by bearing failures are covered for 90 days). During this time RO-Jett will repair or replace at its option defective parts without charge.
Limit of Liability: Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts by RO-Jett and does not include shipping expenses.
Exclusion and/or Voidance of Warranty: This warranty does not apply to damage or defects resulting from lean running, misuse, neglect or abuse, damage caused by customer disassembly, tampering, use of substandard fuel, use of incorrect accessories (glow plug, prop, etc), abnormal service, damage in shipment, damage resulting from a crash, or any use of the engine for which it is not specifically intended. Any engine used for racing or with fuel containing higher than 15% nitromethane is not covered by this warranty. Full length tuned pipes or mufflers are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is void if the engine is modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than RO-Jett. Special power enhancements made by RO-Jett at your request void the warranty!!! This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state within the U.S.
Proof of Date of Purchase: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to show proof and date of purchase. Your original invoice or receipt is required. Should your engine require warranty or non-warranty service, please return it via UPS or insured Parcel Post to:

Along with your engine and invoice, please enclose a complete explanation of the problems. Give your name, address and phone number clearly. For repairs not under warranty, you will be notified by mail of the charges and will have the option of paying by COD, credit card, or by sending a check or money order. You may pre-authorize, and include a credit card number to speed things along. Remember, you must pay a postage fee of $9.00, which should be included with the return. COD charges of $5.00 will be added to the repair or to the $9.00 shipping charge.
